Nourishing Burnout with Crystal Yescas | @supercaliog

Saturday, September 12th, 2020 |  11am-1pm PST/ 2pm-4pm EST

2HR Online Gathering

DESCRIPTION:

The sacrifices Birthwork demands of us can weigh heavy in our hearts, our bodies and our spirits. The hustle of being a business owner, while maintaining relationships and supporting clients to the best of our ability can sometimes leave us to care for ourselves last.

In a profession where our value is in the Heart of what we give, it is vital that we are able to deeply nourish ourselves to come back into balance and feel regenerated again to continue the work of our passion. As Caregivers, we must nourish ourselves so we can take care of others in the way they deserve and to embody the blessings of fulfillment of walking this life in our purpose.

In this circle, we will:

  • Share our stories and experiences of burnout
  • Examine the common threads in community
  • Discuss ways to identify when burnout is happening (it can sneak up on us when we’re hustling)
  • identify our values and regenerative practices to maintain our energy
  • Explore plant allies to soothe
  • Practices to stay connected to ourselves and the essence of our truth & purpose
  • Weave a community of nourishment to hold us as we continue our journey
