This workshop is part 3 of the Reclaiming Ancestral Home Series. The Reclaiming Ancestral Home Series is about holding space for sharing our journeys, reclaiming and embodying inner creativity to sustain & nurture powerful relationships, and finding a deeper understanding of how to embrace change while healing collectively. It is rooted in radical, spiritual, decolonizing praxis and consciousness-raising. Each participant will embody their own healing & creative powers through introspection and connection to their own ancestral and interdependent wisdom. Participants will take the lead in their own reflections, dialogues and storytelling practices.
The Reclaiming Ancestral Home Series is dedicated to teaching:
- Ancestral medicines about decolonizing healing
- Teachings as an embodied leadership
- How to EMBODY practices and rituals for rooting and centering based on ancestral wisdom
- How to RECLAIM daily practices of sustainable wellbeing for body, mind, and Spirit

FACILITATOR
Erika Murcia also known as Erika Sanadora is a global curandera and mindfulness coach passionate about community building. She embodies a decolonizing healing praxis as guardian of poetic storytelling. Her ancestral wisdom and traditions are rooted in indigenous, multiracial Mesoamerican, European and global lineages. She was born in Honduras in a refugee camp and was raised in the mountains of Chalatenango, El Salvador. She is a nomadic spirit student of teachers following Indigenous medicines globally. Erika has more than a decade of experience as a facilitator supporting womxn, storytellers, healers, community organizers of the global south to reclaim their creative intuitive power through decolonizing embodied ancestral practices. She has offered over 100 workshops in various countries in Latino America and works with people around the globe. She believes that every human being has the power to sustain their wellbeing while healing with Mother Earth. Her offerings are available through online small group workshops, and one-on-one sessions. She holds a master’s in social work from the University of Michigan.
