2 HR ONLINE WORKSHOP Description: Moving from surviving to thriving is not easy. For some, this means a reclamation of their sensual & sexual relationships with self and others. Guilt. Shame. Anger. Numbness. Overwhelm. Despair. For many, these are huge obstacles getting in the way of us connecting to our body-based pleasure as well as to connecting with others. If you are ready to do this reclamation work- this gathering is for you! This workshop consists of a slideshow presentation, group discussion, and participants will receive a detailed handout outlining the steps discussed in the presentation. *Please note that this workshop is only open to self identified survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Participation in the group discussion is optional and folks will not be asked to disclose their experiences of trauma. Drawing upon her 10+ years of experience supporting survivors of sexual assault, studying indigenous Mexican and Indian healing modalities, and obtaining her masters in Women, Gender, Spirituality & Social Justice from the California Institute of Integral Studies- she approaches healing & justice work as a mechanism for individual and collective liberation.
